Founding director
Kate has worked in health publishing, communications and business development for more than 40 years. Her background includes nurse training and a Bachelor of Business.
She co-authored Fast Living, Slow Ageing with Professor Merlin Thomas (25,000+ copies sold) and founded the SLOWageing research and education platform. In 2018, she co-designed SLOWBot, an AI chatbot for healthy ageing coaching, with Italy's Fondazione Bruno Kessler. The project was published in the ACM Digital Library.
Kate founded iaso health to bring together patient education, digital health strategy and evidence-based content production under one consultancy. She also runs Medius Global, an advisory for the Australian GP and health sector.
Her work spans content strategy, stakeholder engagement, information product development, digital platform design and business development across health, medical and wellness sectors.
