Carolen Barripp is a highly accomplished publishing professional with over 30 years of experience in content creation, editorial management, design, sales, and marketing across various media platforms. With a keen eye for innovation and a passion for effective communication, Carolen has consistently demonstrated her ability to identify new partnerships, sales channels, and publishing products that resonate with audiences and drive positive change.

Throughout her career, Carolen has honed her skills in fostering long-term relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders. Her resourceful, visionary, and problem-solving approach has enabled her to navigate the ever-evolving publishing landscape and deliver impactful solutions that inform, engage and inspire readers.

As the founder and publisher of CL Creations Pty Ltd, Carolen has spearheaded numerous groundbreaking initiatives. She launched the first Australian industry series aimed at promoting Australia’s capabilities to the global market, covering critical sectors such as Biomedical, Sustainable Energy, Water, Intelligent Transport Services, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Sustainable Building Materials. These publications have played a significant role in showcasing Australia’s expertise and fostering international collaborations.

Carolen’s commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond her professional endeavors. As a board member of the Empire Bay Progress Association for 12 years, including serving as President, she successfully secured grant funding from Local, Commonwealth, and State Governments totaling approximately $3 million for community development activities in Empire Bay. Her dedication to community service was recognised with the prestigious NSW Government Community Service Award in November 2022.

With a special interest in health and longevity, Carolen has been at the forefront of publishing cutting-edge content in this field. In conjunction with Health Media Group she produced two notable books, ‘Fast Living Slow Ageing’ and ‘Slow Ageing Guide to Skin Rejuvenation,’ which have provided readers with valuable insights and strategies for maintaining optimal health and vitality throughout their lives.

Currently, Carolen is embarking on an exciting new venture – developing a Longevity Festival aimed at improving health outcomes as we age. This innovative event will bring together experts, thought leaders, and community members to explore the latest research, trends, and practices in the field of healthy aging, empowering individuals to take control of their wellbeing and live their best lives.

Carolen’s educational background, including a Business degree from the University of Technology and an Advertising qualification from TAFE, has equipped her with a solid foundation in marketing, communication, and business strategy. These skills, combined with her creative vision and unwavering commitment to making a difference, have positioned Carolen as a respected and influential figure in the publishing industry and beyond.
