Dr Joe Kosterich

Dr Joe Kosterich is a General Practitioner, educator, and health advocate with over 30 years of experience in the medical field. As a passionate proponent of preventive healthcare, he dedicates his career to helping people stay healthy and get the most out of life.

His engaging and down-to-earth approach has made him a popular figure among patients, colleagues, and the wider community.

Joe’s expertise extends beyond clinical practice, as he is also a sought-after keynote speaker, author, and media presenter. He regularly contributes to numerous medical and mainstream publications, and is a frequent commentator on radio and television programs, including Channel 9’s News. In addition to his media work, Joe is an Adjunct Professor (Teaching) at the University of Western Australia and a lecturer at Curtin Medical School. He is clinical editor of  Medical Forum Magazine and is a medical writer and course chair for HealthCert. His commitment to education and sharing knowledge is evident in his self-published books, ‘Dr Joe’s DIY Health’ and ’60 Minutes To Better Health.’

Throughout his career, Joe has held senior positions in the Australian Medical Association and served on various industry and government boards. He has extensive experience in the establishment and management of medical centres and has worked as a consultant for leading healthcare organisations, such as IPN and DoctorDoctor WA.

Despite his diverse roles and responsibilities, Joe remains committed to patient care and continues to practise as a GP at Dr 7 Medical Centre Yokine and Kingsley Woodvale Medical Centre.
